Michel Kandinsky was born in Warsaw & raised in Oklahoma City. After studying biology
at McGill University he pursued filmmaking at the prestigious Polish National Film School in Lodz and La Femis in Paris, then completed the Cineplex Entertainment Director’s Lab at the Canadian Film Centre.
Michel has directed short films, music videos & commercials, written for episodic television and produced for MTV and Comedy Central.
His most recent award-winning short film, “Kill Brass”, has played at festivals in Montreal, Toronto, Houston, Los Angeles & Moscow among others.
Now based in Toronto, he is developing several feature projects including POSITIVE KILL RATIO, a survivalist drama set in Afghanistan, BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY a gritty & poetic thriller set in the world of underground MMA & VINELAND SUMMER a brutally violent Viking romantic comedy.
